Centro Inox is the Italian Stainless Steel Development Association: was founded in 1962 and is constituted by the major stainless steel producers in Italy. The action of Centro Inox is planned with its members to maintain and consolidate the industrial sectors where the stainless steel is used and to search for new applications. It provides advisory service with data and technical information and works actively in standardization and legislative activities.

It also allows, through the company Centro Inox Servizi Srl, a subscription to a network of “dedicated” services, for continuous and personalized assistance.

Representing 30-40% of stainless steel imports into the EU, EURANIMI is the leading European association uniting 300 distribution sites across 25 European countries.

Founded in 2021 and based in Brussels, EURANIMI represents mill-independent stainless steel and aluminium importers, including stockholding distributors, traders, service centres, and processors. As a powerful advocate at the European level, the association works to shape policies on international trade, customs, taxation, and regulatory matters, ensuring that legislation is clear, consistent, and aligned with market realities.

Engaging directly with EU authorities and courts in advisory, negotiating, and remedial roles, EURANIMI drives fairer, more predictable conditions for Europe’s stainless steel and aluminium importers, safeguarding their interests in an evolving regulatory landscape.
